Transparent Energy is a renewable energy company providing complete solar solutions for homes and businesses across the Western Cape and, through our partners, all nine provinces of South Africa.
We install, maintain, and support a full range of solar systems—from small portable units to large megawatt commercial installations. Our team also assists with electrical compliance, solar registrations, and flexible finance options for both residential and commercial clients.
As part of our growth strategy, Transparent Energy is expanding into the energy wheeling space. This enables large power users to purchase renewable energy generated off-site and transport it through South Africa’s national grid. By embracing this future-focused model, we contribute to a more resilient energy landscape while offering businesses cleaner, cost-effective power solutions.

Mark is the founder of Transparent Energy. He has been in sales since 2005 and later started his own technology business in 2017, which led him into the renewable energy space.
He believes strongly in Transparency, Integrity and Trust, and he makes sure every customer receives a solution that truly fits their needs.
Mark enjoys building long-term relationships and finding the best possible energy solutions for homes and businesses. He is also a dedicated family man with two young sons.
Michael brings over 30 years of experience in sales, management and business development across many industries in South Africa.
He is passionate about understanding customers and helping them choose solutions that match their needs.
At Transparent Energy, Michael focuses on helping individuals, SMEs and corporates reduce their carbon footprint and move towards cleaner energy. Outside of work, he enjoys surfing and living along the Cape coast.

Lu-Jane is a qualified Cost and Management Accountant with extensive experience in finance and operations.
She specialises in building efficient systems and processes that support smooth business performance.
With strong communication and organisational skills, she plays a key role in customer service and internal operations. Born and raised in Cape Town, she is passionate about her community and the growth in the renewable energy sector.
